About Us
The
accounting firm of Terry B. Cogan, CPA was established in 1993
in Green Valley to provide efficient, expert solutions to
individuals, non-profit organizations, estates and trusts. My primary services include
accounting, taxation, non-profit auditing. trust accounting and estate planning.
I also offer a host of specialty services to cater to the
unique needs of my older clients. My staff and I serve a wide
range of individuals, trusts and
non-profit organizations and are experts in the accounting
issues and tax laws that impact our clients.
Being careful to deliver value for what I charge has resulted
in a reputation for providing outstanding service at a
reasonable fee.
Mission
My
purpose is to furnish personalized tax, accounting, and other
financial services of value to my clients. I am confident that
if I provide outstanding service and give value beyond what I
charge, not only will mutual trust and respect develope, but
satisfaction and a fair reward will result.
The foundation of my business is the commitment to deliver
quality services of value at a reasonable price. I aim to be
client-driven, and that relationship means that you are the
most important person in my office. The most important
relationship in my business is the bond of trust and respect
between the client and the CPA. I will always strive to build
and strengthen this relationship.
Profit is not the main purpose of my business and will not be
sought for its own sake. Rather, it is a necessity if I am to
be able to continue to deliver valuable services to you. It is
for that reason that I will be careful to do what I have chosen
to do in a manner that is efficient and cost-effective. I will
be more concerned with you than my competitors.

It is vital to a good client-professional relationship. I want
you to feel comfortable about asking questions and discussing
your concerns at all times. I assure you that your affairs will

Background
I
graduated Summa Cum Laude from Eastern New Mexico University
with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in
accounting. Prior to moving to Green Valley, I practiced in
large accounting firms in Salina, Kansas and Roswell, New
Mexico.
I am a member of the Green Valley
Elks Lodge, American Legion Post #66, Green Valley Chamber of
Commerce,
serve or have served on the Boards of Directors of the Green
Valley Community Foundation, Community Water Comany and the
Community Performing Arts Center.
History
Terry B.
Cogan, CPA commenced operations on September 01, 1993 in the
Green Valley Mall. On October 01, 2002, we moved to our current
location in the Canoa Hills Plaza at 3290 S. Camino Del Sol,
Suite 140. Over the years, the firm of Terry B. Cogan, CPA has
grown steadily and rapidly to service a continuously growing
clientele. Today, with active practices in accounting and
auditing, tax planning and preparation, trust management, trust accounting, and estate planning, Terry B. Cogan, CPA has
evolved into a full-fledged accounting and consulting firm
serving the Green Valley and Sahuarita area.
